Leading impartial mortgage broker, First Mortgage is celebrating after six of its partner organisations scooped top honours at the prestigious Homes for Scotland Awards.
With several categories up for grabs at the awards, each First Mortgage partner entered into a relevant category came away a winner at the record-breaking lunch event.
The largest-ever Homes for Scotland Annual Awards took place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and brought together over one thousand senior industry representatives and their guests.
Homes for Scotland is the voice for the home building industry in Scotland, and each year gathers together representatives from over 200 organisations. Collectively, they construct more than 95% of all new homes built in Scotland.
The annual awards celebrate best practice, collaboration and innovation each year with accolades across several categories. This year saw the biggest attendance and nomination numbers to date, with over 25% more applications for awards than in previous years.
Following addresses by Minister for Local Government & Housing, Kevin Stewart MSP and new HFS Chair, Ken Gillespie on the theme of changing, challenging, collaborating, the winners were announced.
First Mortgage partners taking away top honours included Miller Homes in the home builder of the year category, Stewart Milne Homes, David Wilson Homes and Dundas Estates for large, medium and small private development of the year along with CALA Homes and A&J Stephen in other categories.
More recently, the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards saw Miller Homes, Stewart Milne, CALA Homes and David Wilson Homes recognised again in the first round of announcements, with David Wilson Homes winning 83 awards overall. A further nine partners were recognised in these prestigious awards, which aim to reward site managers for their contribution to creating outstanding quality homes.

The regional award ceremonies for the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards will take place throughout September and October, 2018.
