The First Mortgage (NE) team has raised over £5,000 in 2019 alone for local charities.
In September, five our of team took part in the Great North Run, the biggest half marathon event in the world, raising money for the Sunshine Fund. The Sunshine Fund enhance the lives of local children with disabilities by funding equipment to meet their specialist needs. This includes specialist beds, wheelchairs, trikes, IT and sensory equipment.
The team managed to raise over £1,500 for the Sunshine Fund helping Children with disabilities in the North East.
Back in March, seven of our team braved the elements and slept under the stars at St James Park in Newcastle to raise much needed funds for homelessness and poverty in the North East. This was the second year running that our team took part in the CEO Sleepout. Thanks to kind donations from our staff, clients, local businesses and family and friends, we raised over £3,500! These vital funds will make a real difference to the lives of people in need of support right here in the region.
